Excellent !!! Was fortunate to represent India in two UN peacekeeping missions namely Mozambique & Rwanda as a Military Observer. As explained by Nitin, India should be made a permanent member of the UN security council. Well done and Keep it up.

Rising India! I am glad that India has raised Hinduphobia (also hatred towards Buddhist, Sikhs) issue in the UN. India will head an UN anti terrorism commission till December 2022.

Only recently we started putting pressure on UN otherwise all earlier efforts were very soft.

A distant dream continues to face India to join the UN Security Council. Too many political blockers. A pity in this multi lateral organisation given Indian support.

India deserve Permanent seat in UN and it long due, India should pull back all sorts of support and demand strong for permanent seat... at times you have to be selfish and demand...

There is a film on Netflix "The Siege of Jadotville" about the Irish UN peacekeeping mission in Congo's Katanga province in 1961.. At the same time in the same province, nearby, there is a Indian UN peacekeeping contingent.. The actions of this Indian UN peacekeeping contingent are not mentioned favorably.. In fact it is blamed for the death of several Katanga civilians in an incident.. This unfortunate incident is then used by the Rebel Tshombe to use his mercenaries against the Irish contingent..

India might get permanent membership but won't ever get Veto power. The UNSC's flawed voting system won't allow it and neither of the four members(except China) would want to let go of control over India as if India needs veto, we'll have to run to any of the 4 nations for help

There is an apparent discrepancy in the Indian Army reputation as a foreign peacekeeping force with no allegations of human rights violations abroad, while their conduct is continually questioned in conflict areas within India, such as in Jammu and Kashmir. At the very least, this would suggest that the claims against the Army within India are exaggerated and/or bereft of context.

Isn't that like claiming your local cricket team is just as good as India's national team?
@Nubbdy
@Nubbdy 2 жыл бұрын
@@canucklehead2697 Nah, no reason to assume best are sent abroad and worst kept home, considering Kashmir's import. Same folks could be deployed both places. So real Q is who decides where the good batches are sent, and on what basis? This might be wholly political, not military-level.
@canucklehead2697
@canucklehead2697 2 жыл бұрын
@@Nubbdy The Indian Army has deployed over 5,225 soldiers in UN peace keeping operations, what the deployment number in J&K? Are UN missions comparable to J&K?
@Nubbdy
@Nubbdy 2 жыл бұрын
@@canucklehead2697 Got the number 2500 in articles around 370 abrogation. But the UN number is likely split across difft nations. Overall, the concentration must be far more in J&K. Crime is usually a function of population density, and not net population. That might be a factor.

Indian peace keeping done well is a plus, but carries little SC weight. However, India is a nuclear power. It is becoming a major weapons supplier. It is reaching strategic parity with China. India should be an SC member, but it takes an SC member to make more SC members even if a gift of General Assembly. China does not want India having more influence/parity. Russia is a declining power, while India is a major buyer of Russian weapons, Putin is not into sharing any power. France would take a similar view to Russia, and believes it leads the EU cow by the nose. US is weaning itself off Pakistan, but I don't think ready to totally piss Pakistan off. US probably not interested in expanding a small club it knows well. UK has a large Pakistani origin population who won't assimilate and would unleash a terrorism campaign in UK, if UK agreed to acknowledge an Indian SC veto. Also, UK will not be keen to piss-off a Commonwealth country as capacity to bring Commonwealth with it is part of UK claim to veto. However, the UK has far greater need of a large close supporter in Asia. the UK should acknowledge an Indian SC veto, and give it one of its chairs in the UN SC chamber if other countries won't acknowledge India. I think if UK acknowledged Indian SC veto, the US would quickly suit. France would come under pressure to acknowledge the EU as having an SC veto. However, a France veto separate to an EU veto would be silly. France should invite the EU to share it's seat, but Macron would be very disinclined, perhaps the next French President could do it. UK would not be first to acknowledge a EU veto until EU treated it as an equal in trade and took a more reasonable approach to Northern Ireland. Indian efforts in Afghanistan and Africa show an outward looking country. The UK has plenty of good reasons to acknowledge an Indian SC veto and call it unreversible. If Boris Johnson gets a satisfactory report on partygate, he should acknowledge an Indian SC veto. If not, and he resigns, the next PM should do it. What is the family origin of Rishi Sunuk and Priti Patel?? No matter, if either becomes PM in near future, they should show their power and that of the UK, by acknowledging an Indian SC veto.

Question is why India is sending some many our army personals on peacekeeping mission while we are struggling to get Permanent seat in UN security council. Better would be utilise them back in home

First thing to know is Turkey is not a country it is continent....Turkey was a continent. Assyrians are asuras Syrians are suras ....syria is actually called suria...assyria is called asur. Arya word comes from aram. Aram is actual name of ram. aram is also called ara which later formed arya. aryans are people who were followers of aram. Gandhi is not just a normal person like a freedom fighter. If he was a freedom fighter rss would not be an enemy to him. But Gandhi is a gandharva who belongs to dynasty of akkadian king sargon. gandharvas and asuras were brothers of each other. Assyrian language house is called itu(e2)....which is only one language Tamil which has same word vitu...in telugu its inti(sanskritization of itu)....brick in telugu is also called ituka.... The story being here aryans invading Persia(medians conquered assyria) and later the east...have been defeated by arabs. aryans who were living in India in turkey. India is name of aryan's country. aryans were left without country. Others who were still in east came under mughal rule. When britishers arrived aryans have helped britishers to build their empire in east. They begged britishers to divide the country to decrease power of mughals. The bigger part was given to aryans. Power was given to aryans. Gandhiji who was not interested in power was giving directives. But was killed by godse, an aryan. Nehru who was loved by rss got hated by them suddenly when he got his daughter married to a gandhi. This country not only has wrong history but also wrong country name. The continent asia is actually name of turkey. Caa is way of making aboriginals outsiders. aryans as insiders. lastly sanskrit is not actually the language of brahmins, it was latin...telugu, hindi were also formed from latin....aryans were subjected to sanskrit or latin language under the rule of romans in turkey. Nicolo de conti famed to be visitor went to bezanagalia which was forcibly being matched with 'vijaya'. This bezanagalia is a place in turkey and is not vijayanagara. The language spoken in bezanagalia was sanskrit. Nicolo de conti called it as italian of the east. As Turkey was east to Italy. This sanskrit which was spoken took shape of aramaic when two scripts joined. The two scripts were of asura (assyrian) and greek. The collusion of these two scripts formed devanagari script. The diacritics(straight lines) were taken from asura script and letters from greek. Devanagari script formed in turkey and later travelled to east amongst us and formed telugu and hindi. our language being tamil and due to aryan invasion tamil formed telugu and kannada. tamil remained unaffected to most extent. malayalis were already affected by nairis from armenia. syrian christians were brahmins who were converted to christianity after death of christ. who reached kerala long ago.

Republic Day greetings to you, NitinBhai. Please be assured that all your programs are positive in nature, this one on Blue Caps also. Tell us little on some bravery tales of blue helmet like General Rawat's one which you did not describe though you could have. This 'different stroke' program is good one, be assured. I am a connoisseur.
