You can also use a spackle scraper from the home improvement store if you’re in a pinch and cant find a bench scraper. You just have to run it through the dish washer first

Another beautiful and well demonstrated cake. I will say I really wish you would have topped it with strawberries verses maraschino cherries. Not only does it mislead to what the yummy cake inside is, but brings that awful artificial cherry flavor in the mix. It would have been so lovely with the natural fruit on top.
