Strawberry cheesecake trifle is trending and I can see why. This dessert is perfect for holiday gatherings and great to make ahead. You can easily turn this into a no-bake dessert by using ready-made pound cake. Let me show you how I make this easy and delicious dessert.

INGREDIENTS
13 oz boxed vanilla cake mix
3 large eggs
1 cup milk
2/3 cup melted unsalted butter
9x13-inch baking pan
8 oz block of cream cheese
3.4 oz package of vanilla pudding mix
2 cups cold milk
8 oz container of Cool Whip topping
1 lb fresh strawberries
2 to 3 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp balsamic vinegar (or use fresh lemon juice)

I’m not sure about the vinegar on the strawberries. It seems so different of a combination. Looks real good though. Love how your husband always gets your stuff out of the fridge or oven for you.

Oooooh yummmm!!!! I have a question for you (because you are so authentic). My Irish mother was orphaned and taken in by the most wonderful people (Mexican origin) from New Mexico. I remember a dish (besides best tamales EVER) that my godmother made. It was the fideo cooked in tomato sauce until very dry (may have been onion and a few other ingredients), that we ate with fresh, homemade tortillas. Have you ever heard of such a dish? I really have missed this.

@danielkaiser8971 Depends on the family recipe. Most people make it with the strawberry and cream and meringue. But there was an old pie shop I went to where the elderly owner made an Eton mess adding bits of sponge like this recipe. The thing is Trifle should for me have separate layers and custard is a must.
