I made this cheesecake recipe *years* ago and it’s delicious! A lot of cheesecake recipes skip the sour cream and lemon juice: don’t skip those. It’s such a perfect recipe. Also do the water bath, it’s kinda scary and it does make a difference. I want this so bad now, lol.

Looks great and I used to make cheesecakes often. But with 8 oz. cream cheese at over $4 ($4.79 at Jewel in the midwest) this has gotten very pricey 😒. Although still considerably cheaper than Cheesecake Factory for a full size pie which start at $60.....yikes.

The problem is is that I’ve tasted too many cheesecakes where there are whole little pieces of cream cheese that were not mixed in well. I happen to like a very smooth cream cheese cake, and not lump in it.😊❤
