She's obviously seeking sexual attention from the wrong source, and this could turn really nasty if the wife was to come home unexpectedly and find her daughter walking around in her personals with you home alone with her. The wife would immediately be suspicious of how long its been going on , why she feels so comfortable doing that, and if "anything else deeper" is going on. This is why you should tell ya wife ASAP.

He should definitely mention that she tries to sit on his lap. I stopped my daughter from sitting on her father’s lap when she was about 5. Dad understood. So true, my mother never let us being little girls sit in my father's lap but she never explained the reason. It was very confusing to me. I feel that the 19 year old wants attention badly and trying to get a reaction from her father. he does have to talk to her in his wife's presence on appropriate behavior in the home. I actually would have spoken to my spouse, first, about the problem and then had a family meeting about my stepchild's inappropriateness. People have to be careful on how they approach situations. I believe the stepdaughter is seriously disrespectful, inappropriate and she needs to be addressed. In fact, her behind needs to move out. Also, does the stepfather/daughter work?
