The other women did that because they knew if they had approached and told the wife it would have never gotten back to the kids that they had outside siblings. This happened to me with my grandfather and I’m glad they choose to approach me then, because if not I would have never known about them.

There's really never any right time for something like this to come. Even if these women had approached this matter while the daddy was still living, one can never anticipate how the matter or how it's approached will be received. A lot of times it's not totally a matter of big surprise to the wife, other women or children. There's usually some mention of other children or a child somewhere along the course of time.

Why didn’t these woman approach his wife and not his kids? They didn’t need to hear that from these women. Lots of men had children out of wedlock and it never gets out. They do take it to their graves.

Those women were out of line. That wasn't their place to say. As for the kids, the mother should just talk to them. See if they want to meet the others. See if that can be arranged. And she should have asked the women what was the purpose of them telling her kids that. At a funeral.

Steve isn't in the LA studio. The production crew are in LA at the KJLH home studio. Steve and Nephew Tommy live in Atlanta so they all broadcast via satellite. I think Steve actually records from his house he has a home studio, while Shirley and the production crew are in LA and they all link up via satellite feed. While to us listeners we can't tell the difference to us it sounds like they're all together they're really all in different locations. It's cool what they can do with radio shows now.

Steve I agree with almost all of the advice that you give. However the advice you gave for this letter was incorrect. You said that the deceased husband should have taken the lie to his grave. ALL liars will have their part in the lake of fire. He does not have to deal with this lie with his wife but with God. If you don't care about where you spend eternity then go ahead and take the lie to your grave. However if you care about your soul it's best to get all lies straight.

Im still trying to figure out who called them to the funeral? Because some family member or members have seen, talked to, hung around, and dealt with his other family.....and not one of his hating ass family members "spilled the beans" because every family has that "jackass"......my possible brother found me on Facebook and called me 11pm we a family of 6 siblings (5 girls 1 bro) depending on the age of the children they probably not surprised....I wasn't..... She got counseling? Just reasonable cause for a law suit, for stress.....smh.....anywho my mama still waiting on that apology from my Pops and she will never get it he was "community d@#$" the dope man who slept with the crackhead and got a possible baby🙄😔😉

The mother of these children could use this as a teaching tool: "Men will be men." # This kind of thing happens when a man and a woman have sexual relations! The children are as innocent as her children. They are not illegitimate; the parents were. Embrace them. Shirley needs to grow up!
