Great video. Hands down my summer favorites are (green, yellow, scarlet runner, and purple) beans and fresh tomatoes. We do not grow bush beans anymore. The pole beans don't get sandy and are far easier for this old body to pick. The yellow beans are my least favorite and don't do as well as the other beans. The scarlet runners have to be picked at the right time or they become tough. The green beans are tied with the purple beans and the purple even inch ahead because they are very prolific and remain excellent when they get larger. We grow several kinds of tomatoes. The cherry or million tomatoes are garden snacks any time of day. Many larger tomatoes don't make it to the jar lol. This year I made 4 dozen pints of chili sauce. I also froze about 2 dozen 1 cup packages of chili sauce. I canned the rest just plain. The other favorite is butternut squash. They are great keepers. We never have enough to can or freeze them. Thanks again for the video.

Love rhubarb, been trying to grow it for the last few years, but to no avail, hopefully I can find some, somewhere as crowns, or may have to plant some seeds and grow it that way, i would love it to take over in the garden. My mum would make all sorts of things with it (bless her she's no longer with us, RIP) it was great. You have some good recipes Colleen!

Thank you Sharon, I found it really odd that a rhubarb plant didn't survive the winter. I know people who have tried to kill them on purpose and they keep coming back. I'm glad I had a friend who had some but I think its time that I planted some of my own. Cheers, Colleen

Hi Colleen, thanks for another great video. My family is from Southern Ontario but moved to Florida when I was young. Several of the recipes you make here are similar to the ones my grandmother made. Do you have a recipe for that dish? Thank you
