these really were very good and the pastry cooked in the HYSapientia 24L was just perfect for this gorgeous dessert.

Wow Graham You brought back a happy memory today for me! I mentioned to you both that I and my brother used to stay with my Aunty Gladys in Awsworth during our school summer holidays. Because the weather was often hot she used to ask us if we wanted a ‘Sucker’ to help us cool down! In Manchester we called them iced lollies so ‘Sucker’ was a novel name for us 😉😋👌

Do not laugh just a quick comment as I can do short ones 😂 I am feeling so unwell...however had daughter and son in law over this morning and sent them home with fresh made bread, cakes and soup and have taken my orders of what to bake so her dad can bring in next week to her. I am so glad I clean as I bake and cook as they left and I went straight to bed. Watching this I think they may be in for a unexpected treat next week as they look devine but tricky padtry to handle for sure. I have a Mens Wimbledon Final Day planned at my best friend's house so these will be definitely on menu....I am in charge of Baking, Sandwiches and she will do Mocktails as neither of us really enjoy drinking. We are enjoying rain tonight but heck also blowing a hoolie so can't have window open. Take care 😊x

The Strawberries are lovely 😊 I saw a good thing on a fb reel.. to clean them use a metal straw.. push up through the bottom of the strawberry and it pushes the top out with very little strawberry lost.. tartlets look yummy 😋 xx

We like a FAB,Iceland sells the Family Pack with 12 in the box for £4.00 which is good as it's £2.50 for 6 normally,great to see traditionally made custard,my mum used to bring out the tin of Creamola Custard Powder to make ours,those tarts look amazing Graham and Wendy,great video once again guys 👌👏👏👏👏

Hi Richard, fabs are great aren’t they. We’ve had those boxes from Iceland they are better value. For years I used to suck those funny shaped jubblys👌. Those tartlets went so well using that pastry, they need eating pretty quick though 😂😂😂😂😂.its been very hot down here mate 🥵

Cos of diabetes I use plain tea biscuits and pike cream and strawberries on - feel like rebelling tho after seeing your strawberry tarts!!! We have a glut of gooseberries and rhubarb to eat our way thru.....! Lee

We give loads of gooseberries and rhubarb away - there's a limit to how many two old folk can eat! Its OK having a fruit garden if you're feeding an army! We have plums, pears, cooking apples and sweet apples as/well as berries and wild garlic! I'd use garlic as a perfume I love the stuff so much!!! 😹

Another wonderful creation from the inspirational Wendy ably assisted by Graham, they look wonderful. I am waiting for a plumber to arrive my mixer shower decided to play up last night and it is built in and I haven't damn clue how it works, more expense so I am looking for food parcels preferably with strawberry tarts in them as well as one or two other nibbles, just saying. I have never in my entire life ever heard an ice lolly called a "sucker" I learn something new every day.

Hi Vince, the strawberry tartlets were so nice Vince but they won’t last long in this heat. You need a shower in this heat. You could borrow our camping shower. It’s battery and just drops in a bucket so you can use it outside. Not sure what the neighbours would say though. Ok you’re our mate so I will lend you the shower tent as well. 😂😂😂😂😂 watch out for the moths when the plumber wants paying, you might need a chair as well. Have a sucker mate that will bring you round if you feel faint 🤞👍
