I don't know, I kind-of feel the opposite. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love Sapphire and she usually knocks it out of the park, but it feels like this really wasn't her type of song because it's just so many quick vocal segments and stuff where her voice isn't quite able to shine like it usually does. Like I feel like she's at her best when she can really stretch out those notes and get some real power out of these covers, you know? At least, that's my initial impression here.

Some of the counting is off and the instrumental doesn’t punch you in the face with epic ness like in the original, but other than that, this is by far the best and smoothest translation I’ve heard so far. Really good mate, Cheers!

This was really cool to listen to! I'm not sure when I stumbled upon your channel (probably the Samurai Chanploo stuff) but your voice is amazing for the stuff you cover! That said, I do feel like this one was a little lacking. Your vocals are great, but the instrumentation is lacking. Those descending runs on the electric guitar during the chorus are gone with nothing replacing them to give it that momentum. Something about the drums feels weak, maybe because they've been swapped with more electronic drum sounds but 99 was already a very electronic sound so I'm not sure that's it. The bass isn't driving it very hard either, so this all adds up to making the guitar solo that comes up just feel gratuitous and shoehorned in inappropriately unlike the original song where it's meant to feel like the only way to express that energy and anxiety building up within Mob. That doesn't mean the cover isn't awesome, it's still excellent, and I'm just a random dude who probably misses it's rock feel a little so I'm biased slightly against this cover, but it is something to think about for next time. I usually feel like I can listen to your covers interchangeably with the original even if you change stuff (which you usually should to make them your own) but here it just feels like a watered down version of the original to me without being different enough to make me not think about it. Either way this is awesome, great job!

Hi Sapphire, stop me if I'm wrong. Part of the reason why the song doesn't feel like it has as much of a punch is that the original was made by a Mob *CHOIR*. My favourite part of the original is the pre-chorus with all the voices asking Mob what he wants. You did use multiple voices, but the issue is that the audio doesn't seem panned to me. Consider panning the voices at different locations to make the audio more realistic, there might be a huge difference. After all, people don't occupy the same location in 3D space when singing in a choir. You're my favourite cover artist on YT, and I use your music to study all the time. Thanks!
