Hopefully, you have found the video that maps out the cat's whole journey. If you wondered if the cat makes it back to his family - when he walks out of view at the end, he already has. His journey took him back to them, the place you started the game in should be about 30 seconds easy walk in the direction that the cat left in. The thing that makes Stray so amazing, beyond its roots as "cat in Kowloon Walled City", was how much _cat_ there was in the cat. Some games are just art. Like this one.
