The reason Han is called the 'Ace' is because he can do it all, he raps, sings, dances, as well as writes, and produces their music. In the group, he raps as much as Changbin and sings as much as Seungmin who are the 'main rapper/singer'. All of Stray Kids can do it all to some extent but Han is just a step above in the whole industry.

Changbin's singing is beautiful but he can't do the things vocally that Han can do and that's probably because he's a lot more focused on rapping. I hope we get more vocals from him soon :))

@Izzy_C143 Vocal range is far less impressive for me, that's not talent, it's just genetics. I've seen Whitney Houston do things towards the end of her career when her voice had faded that would put people like Ariana Grande to shame. It's not just what your voice can do, but how you use it. Despite not singing as often, I think Changbin has equivalent talent, even if he doesn't have an equivalent vocal range. People don't give him nearly as much credit as he deserves.

Chan wrote the song connected, produced it and sang it. 3 racha (Chan, Han and Changbin) do all their own producing and most of the writing for Stray Kids. The other members will do some writing also. Han is one of the main rappers and has an incredible voice. They call him the ace because he can literally do anything. Changbin along with being one of the best rappers ever in k pop also has a great voice. I recommend you listening to Bang Chan's " I hate to admit". It's a very heartfelt song with great vocals.

Han has a LOT more solo songs that we love. Alien, Close, I Got it. He writes for the others too, like Seungmin in Hold On. He has a bunch of duets too with other members- he has an amazing vocal ability.

11:39 Han actually is one of their main Rapper But he can sing really well, he just doesn't do it that often. Ps: All of them can dance, sing and most of them can rap well to. Personally I would love to hear more Solos or duets from them. I think especially I. N is really underated, because his voice is more soft and tends to get lost under some of their beats.

Changbin, streetlight. He's not under the street light, he IS the street light. In the dark, he is there to guide and lead the way, however, as a street light, who is there for him when he is struggling himself? It's about depression, it hit him for the first time ever. He wants to be the strong one, the reliable one and not show anything less, however he too sometimes needs support. The blue tree is representative of an organisation in Australia. A young man painted the tree in front of his home blue as a call for help. No one heard the call so he left this earth. HYUNJIN..... he wrote this about his puppy that died very young. Once they knew he was in trouble, they couldn't help him, there was nothing that could be done. I think the puppy had parvo, they had only had it for a week.

Seungmin has some solo OSTs as well- Here Always & Close to Me. He and I.N have a lot of solo covers too. It makes sense for VocalRacha. I love Felix’s Deep End, but I love him best when he is in harmony with one of the others- listen to him & Lee Know together during Neverending Story. The blend is beautiful. When it comes to Lee Know, Felix and Seungmin I agree it's a good idea to check their solo songs: Lee Know - Limbo, Seungmin - Stars and Raindrops, Felix - Deep End but in I.N case I think that you should check out his cover Memory of your scent instead of his solo Hug Me I personaly think that in this cover you can see very well how beautifully he can deliver emotions with his raw vocals

hyunjin debuted as a main dancer and usually raps in skz' songs, however his singing voice is so beautiful. and when he writes his own songs, they are usually very similar to 'miss you', being slow and lyrical. hyunjin loves reading and writing poetry so his songs are like poems, the lyrics are so deep and well thought-through. he is really an all-rounder!

Judging from what you said about emo rap, you might enjoy Han's songs in general :3 "Alien", "Run" and "Happy" are some of his solo songs as well and very relatable to me tbh. For SKZ as a group, you might enjoy "Lonely St." (ODDINARY album), "Insomnia" (SKZ2021) and "Voices" (SKZ2020) and just bc he's my fave (bias), Hyunjin's "Love Untold" is so dear to me as well. is it just me who thinks Bang Chan’s song is like perfect for British radio? Like with that beat, I can see Capital over-playing tf out of that 😭 and if you wanted Chan’s sadder songs, listen to ‘i hate to admit’. With Han, he has said since before debut (they had a survival show before debuting) that he loves ‘lyrical’ rap, as seen in his solo songs. He is the 2nd main rapper but also sings a lot because he hits high notes so well. Hyunjin is also a Rapper! Mainly a dancer acc, especially pre-debut, but it’s clear now he loves doing all and is quickly overtaking Han in solo song releases. Solo Songs for the other dorm are: Deep End (Felix) - Sad song, fully in English. He goes over 3 octaves and his range is shown so well in that song. Mostly a rapper so we don’t hear his voice much (and yes it’s deep voice guy). Maybe also listen to Because (Changbin and Felix). Stars and Raindrops or Hold On (Seungmin)- both are quite emotional songs. 2nd is acc written by Han. His vocals are heavenly so you’ll enjoy it and the songs themselves are just so beautiful. Limbo (Lee Know) - god this is sad. Like I know stays appreciate the beautiful vocals but damn why does no one talk about those sad lyrics? (Also if you want for the jokes, react to Drive, made by him and Bang Chan, it’s RnB and the lyrics are similar to Connected) Hug Me, any of his covers (I.N)- Hug me is very sweet. His vocals are quite unique imo and are just incredible. (Again for the jokes, if you want to, react to Maknae on Top (maknae means the youngest btw) cos it’s literally a song about how amazing he is that BangChan wrote for him lmaoo)

Miss you is a song that makes me cry or teary since we know the story behind it. When they sing about death they always do it in a peaceful and hopeful way with no grudge. They are just singing about letting go and celebrate the memories. Stray Kids are some of the groups that talks about mental health and emotions the most and with so many different styles. They even reach spiritual level with songs like 3rd eye. Their solos reflect that a lot but they have a lot but they have OT8 songs like that too like Scars, Slump, Starl lost or Silent Cry.

Bang Chan arranged three of these songs. He is entirely responsible for Streetlight's instrumental and is first credited for Volcano (alongside Nickko Young who I believe is primarily a guitarist) and Connected (alongside Versachoi, the JYP producer who also helped produce Social Path and God's Menu among others). Also, if you want emotion from Bang Chan (and piano playing), you need to listen to 'I hate to admit'. For next time, Limbo for Lee Know and Deep End for Felix are a given. I would do Stars & Raindrops for Seungmin. Here Always and Hold On are great, but Seungmin didn't write them. For I.N, Maknae on Top is his anthem

Some songs I recommend that i think will fit your style for stray kids if you want to keep reacting to them as a group. Mixtape: oh, Lonely st. Phobia, Backdoor, Slump, scars, voices, gone way, silent cry, star lost, circus, taste, the sound, time out, story that won't end, and case 143, and maybe superboard. Stray kid's music is very diverse, but mostly lately they have liked doing the heavy raps, which is not a bad thing but I can understand it's not completely the music you like. So hopefully these recommendations are more to your tastes!

One of the best thing of being a stay is looking at the song credits. 100% of their song is written and composed by a Stray Kids member, most are 3racha but the other members write and compose too. Miss you might not sound too much like a song per say to you because it was sang very peacefully and full of this melancholic but at the same time hopeful feeling, the story behind it is so sweet and sad, it always gets me teary eyed, I believe (stay that have been here for longer pls correct me) its about a pet (dog?) he used to have that passed and this song is in commemeration of it. the versatility of changbin's songs is amazing! he currently has two solo songs (not including any other skz records done in duo's or small groups, like 'because' and 'up all night'). these are 'streetlight' and 'doodle' and they are completely different! streetlight, as you heard, is much slower and peaceful to listen to... and doodle is quite the opposite! if you give doodle a listen you will see variation of changbin's songs and how easily he can switch from rap to singing.

one of my favourite songs by a stray kids member is Changbins Streetlight because the lyrics are so relatable and you can just hear the emotion and passion in his voice. to sum it up he's basically saying how lonely it feels keeping all your emotions and worries to yourself while you fake a smile but at the same time being the person everyone else goes to for a shoulder to lean on. so hes saying, just like how a lonely streetlight shines at night, he will continue to smile/ shine through the loneliness.(idk if that explanation made any sense haha sorry)

I’m glad these are the songs you listened for their solo especially Hyunjin cause him is known as more of a rapper and not everyone know how sweet and beautiful his singing voice is unless you listen to their B-sides songs and solo/unit songs. Thanks for this! Although I highly recommend rewatching Streetlight with the english captions on and reading them. It's an amazing song and really deep. It's basically him being extremely open and honest about not being okay.

StrayKids is the only group who produce, write, arrange their songs (more usually Chan, Changbin and Han A.K.A 3Racha) and also create themselves their dances (usually Minho, Hyunjin and Felix A.K.A DanceRacha). Chan is also the only Kpop idol and leader who chose his members and they all debuted by a survival show. All of them can be vocalist, rapper and dancer but in order of their level it would be (the = means “same level as”); Chan (the leader): Vocalist = rapper dancer Minho/ Lee know: Dancer = vocalist rapper Changbin: Rapper dancer = vocalist Hyunjin: Dancer = rapper vocalist Han: Rapper = vocalist dancer Felix: Dancer = rapper vocalist Seungmin: Vocal Dance Rap I.N (Youngest): Vocal Dance Rap If you need more informations just ask me !!

I honestly haven't seen many reactions to Connected so im super grateful to the Stay that recommended it! I'd love to see your reaction to Hate to Admit by Chan too 🙈 Also, I love that you just randomly said that's my leader 🥰 yeah he has a crazy hold on the fandom- I mean he didnt lie when he said "No turning back once we're connected" 😂 Oh trust I love my pop punk/punk rock/emo bands and you'll always find something you'll love in kpop - diversity at its finest 👌🏽 I mean i had some music on at my mums place recently and she went "oh they do salsa too?" when I had maknae on top playing 😁

Just an fyi: Seungmin's Here Always is one of my favourite OSTs but it's not actually written or produced by Stray Kids, so while it shows off his amazing vocal skill it's not a Stray Kids song. Hold On is his most recent solo release and it was written by Han with Seungmin's input.

You need to check out Kingdom Legendary War which features Stray Kids. Its a kpop competion/reality live performances between iconic Kpop groups. There are missions for the groups to battle against each other and together. There's judges and audience participation in voting for the winning Kings The program will introduce you to other Kpop groups that are all talented in their own right. Outstanding performances from Stray Kids and showcases their live performance skills.

Han is ‘ace’ because he can do everything like play instruments,produce,write lyrics,sing,rap and dance. However I see all members as ‘aces’ because they all can do a lot of things and especially Changbin because he is main rapper however he has a very sweet and calming singing voice which shocks some ppl if they hear it. 3racha produces the songs (Han,Changbin,bangchan) but other members also step in to help record sometimes and write lyrics. You should definitely also react to stray kids just normal videos of funny vids of them because there personality is like completely different from what u expect as they also don’t hide things a lot and show that they are goofy and weird but stays love them for that because they’re unfiltered. I recommend taste,red lights and drive because you liked connected and they have a similar vibe. I think the more you learn about them the more they shock you because they’re just different from what people expect them to be. Han is also main rapper so when you hear him sing you are also shocked. You should also listen to “I’ll be your man” cover because Hans vocals in that are impeccable and very mind blowing

just some info, hyunjin's song "little star" is about his dog named "kkomi" that passed away when hyunjin was young. the song is so peaceful to listen to but also knowing the meaning gives a new relatability to it :)
