Bang Chan trained for 8years before debuting and I think I just never heard his voice crack, he is always so stable, doing harmonies naturally when he is listening random songs... AND he is one of their main producers. I just can't get enough of this man's skills.

The thing about Bang chan is even though he's not the best singer technically, he knows his voice too well so If a certain song is way out of his range, he won't push it. I mean, I'm not saying his playing it safe but its just that, he certainly knows where and how can he make his voice sound beautiful. And I'm here for all of it.

I’m genuinely happy that finally Chan is getting the attention and love that he deserves. He trained like 8 years, he can do everything and I’m kinda sad that sometimes he doesn’t see how capable and good he is at different things. His voice is like magic, every time I listen to him my soul just leave my body. He can sing, rap, dance, be good at sports, be good as the main writer and producer of Skz. Yes, thank you for the reaction… Lee Know is only starting to have the confidence where he is singing more lines, same as Felix. But after watching their pre debut live shows… stray kids … each and every one of them, are so much stronger, versatile, in tune, with only rare voice breaks ( personally I think it was an age boys voices breaking ) mostly like in I’ll be your man, where it broke bringing through emotions/ where until someone said I.n’s voice broke, I did not notice, because the performance was that enthralling.

11:27 Seungmin is the main vocal. Didn't use to be but for a year he worked hard to broaden his range and be able to perform well in that role. He's originally a baritone but hits those high notes like it's nothing. His falsetto, head voice, chest voice... All great. His greatest asset is, in my opinion, delivery of the emotion of the song. Also, he once did a four hour long vlive broadcast where he just listened to music and sang. His vocal warmups in that video are something else.

Lee Know is known for being the Main Dancer of the group. He is also known as a dancing gem and known for his famous falsettos for Stays. Y'all should recognize him as a singer too. Seungmin's Kingdom performance of Love Poem (as part of Team Mayfly) is the most beautiful thing you'll ever hear. You can watch it uncut on Mnet but there aren't subtitles. If you get a trial of Viki you can watch it (Ep 8 Kingdom Legendary War) with subtitles. It'll be slightly longer because they add in other performers reactions, but the lyrics are so beautiful I think it's worth it. If you want just the song, start at 43:05. If you want to see the process (brainstorming, practicing), start at 30:05). One of the things I really love about Stray Kids songs is that they always or usually divide the chorus or other parts that repeats for other members. They show how other members can sing a certain part and I never thought of pointing out who sing it better because they do their parts really well like the one part Kartiinka pointed out that 3 different members sing. Sometimes I can't even tell which member sings the other "version" of the line because they sound so close.

I feel like you should do a video for only Hyunjin- but hear me out: His voice can sound very basic at first, and I see you don’t normally stop and speak about him much. But his voice is actually extremely versatile. His rapping is always amazing, but he is also an extremely good singer, if you listen to Red Lights (which is a song with only Bangchan and Hyunjin) you can hear him sing excellently. His voice is also extremely unique, it is very soft, but it also has the ability to be quite harsh, depending on the song.

thank you for your interesting analysis. I think that Stray Kids are not recognized enough for their voices and vocal performances. Seugmin voice has such nice vibes (OST home town cha cha cha !!!) ! Han, Bangchan... ! And Hyunjin who have a different way to sing... I really like them a lot for their songs and dance and personalities. Try to listen an old one : chronausorus. One of my favorite song.

I love SKZ vocal appreciations and how within the 8 members, they all share roles and arrange the songs so that each verse sounds unique and not only 1 or 2 people sing the same chorus. I think that's why I love how dynamic their songs are because they arrange the parts regardless of their "roles" but more so, who sounds great in each part.
