What Mike said about the future of fly tying, and how we will scale back size aged well. It used to be all about how big you can go, but these days, I look a lot harder at profile and action rather than size. Great series Brian! #mmgs

I like that he touched on different type of water that's a thing that doesn't get talked about much and is important for fly tyers who are just starting out what materials to use for lakes and rivers it was a great add to the video

Streamers, love every aspect of it, moving and stillwater. It's a sickness, hahahahaha!! The action on a streamer is the future, Tommy Lynch's D&D for example.

JOBAHT that scene and 75% of the rest of the footage was shot with a Canon DSLR and a 16-35mm 2.8 L Series lens.

While I love this series I’m always wondering when they will replace silly questions like “what’s your favorite material”with a discussion about the gear they use. It’s a rare miss but it’s such an obvious question for those of us that want to try this.

flyfishingtheozarks thanks. Would love to know more about favorite rods and reels; brands and models ext but this still helps. I musky fish with big flies and I’m anxious to try this stuff on trout. Thank for the fast response!

Scott Norvell If you are looking for the best rod that fits you, go to your closest fly shop and cast all the 8wts they have and pick the one that fits your style of casting.

did I miss it or did he never catch a fish in this video? good vid anyhow brother!

Brandon Nevarez That is the way streamer fishing goes a lot. When you are targeting the biggest fish in the river you have to be OK with getting blanked.
