This episode's biggest weakness is it's placement. I honestly feel like this episode was meant to be in season 1 but was pushed back for 2. 9/10 of season two's episodes are heavily story based so to have just one of them break the flow does kind of makes this episode feel worse than it is.

This might be the first episode of the entire franchise so far that I legit forgot existed. I forgot Psyphon even did anything on his own before Omniverse. I do believe this is the first time Ben uses Terraspin....that's honestly about it for this episode. It's a neat idea conceptually, with how they use previously established characters in unexpected scenarios but it's just so...immensely forgettable and lackluster

Yeah, again that's probably Ultimate Alien's biggest flaw: tone whiplash. They'd constantly switch between serious, dark episodes and silly goofy filler episodes. This becomes more prevalent in season 2, but season 1 already has this problem with inserting episodes like "Hero Time" and this one in the middle of a storyline, leaving us with the impression our heroes are taking break from the super dangerous world-ending threat to do stupid shit. They probably should have inserted these episodes differently

So for me this is one of the episodes that I wish aired at a diffirent point in the release scheduel, becase as you said it came right after map of infinty which was epic and great for the story, but then we get filler in the middle. Also ye the Forever Knights are basiclly teamrocket at this point. Once they were a threat, now they just suck and aren't a real threat, the story just makes them seem it.....even though the gang should be able to beat them with ease.
