The 'there's not a single device with double AA's in this room' is so relatable, I've lost count on how many times that happened to me As always, love the vlogs and the streams. I can't comment on the cymbals cause I don't know shit about drums but the video quality - I am a video editor - is 100/10 😍

Hey Craig, I appreciate videos like this one a lot since I am new to Live Streaming drums as well...so it is always nice to see what other drummers are doing. Anyway, take care brah!

Oh man, i TOTALLY feel you- every damn time I hit the studio there are few things having issues. It's a damn curse- Last time (last week) a 13 minutes video was all done, 4 takes for that, Mac could not recognise one card, so I did put that back in the Go Pro to check what was going on, but no chance- I took the card from the slot and bam! it just broke in two pieces!

Thanks for trekking through the land of inconveniences to bring us the best quality, every time.
@dalekay9ine6 ай бұрын
You're looking at these MINOR inconveniences all wrong. They're part of the process and you're in a unique position like you said being a kid dreaming of being able to afford the Zs, now getting them free, as well as Evans heads and I take it Tama drums as well. Not taking away from all the hard work you've done, but making sure everything works is part of the process and I wish you could take a second and be grateful to be in the position you're in. I'm jealous of all the free gear and getting to play drums and do drum related things all day as a job. A majority of all my time not spent at work is spend playing drums. Love your stuff Craig, keep your head up and don't sweat the small stuff brother. Much respect.
@cadben6 ай бұрын
How do you know he isn't grateful every day of the position his hard work and diligence and countless minor inconveniences has got him? He's allowed to be annoyed at them. They're annoying, and it's life, so to assume that by feeling those feelings for what they are means he lacks gratitude from the career that he has is insaaaane. Also he probably knows it makes good content, in keeping it real and showing the little blips and day to day problems instead of pretending it's all easy and straightforward. Because it isn't.

You seem to be very meticulously setting up everything and you have a great sound! One idea: you go from a very high quality analog out to a last tier analog in of your onboard sound from the motherboard. This should suffice, but you could go digital via spdif or maybe via network. In Reaper (DAW) there is a pipe plugin which sends any kind of sound signal over network in real-time and the target would be another pipe plugin which receives the sound vie network. As it uses TCP/IP, it doesn’t matter where in the world the receiving computer is based. Maybe Logic has something else. I would check if your motherboard has a Toslink or coaxial digital in for SPDIF.
