"Stree" is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language horror-comedy film directed by Amar Kaushik. The story is set in a small town called Chanderi, where a mysterious female spirit, known as "Stree," haunts the area. The legend has it that Stree abducts men during a specific time of the year, leading to widespread fear among the townsfolk.
The protagonist, Vicky (played by Rajkummar Rao), is a local tailor who gets entangled in the mystery when he starts developing feelings for a woman who seems to be connected to the legend. Alongside his friends and a local historian, Vicky tries to uncover the truth behind Stree's identity and the reasons for her haunting, all while dealing with comedic mishaps and romantic entanglements.
"Stree" combines elements of horror with humor, exploring themes of superstition and gender dynamics while delivering a blend of scares and laughs.

Foreign reviewers didn’t like stree 2 cause horror was non existent and all focused on language related comedy it it was loved by Indian people it became the highest grossing movie in hindi language

stree 2 didnt have raj and dk.. who are the real talent behind this masterpiece. so stree 2 had the body without the soul. an average movie on its own, compared to the 1st part, it was a huge stepdown.
