Lol Akuma having as a hobby scuplting Wood Dolls is kinda adorable when you think about. Is something that you don't imagine the character doing knowing his personality however makes sense on the same time lol 😂

Depending on the continunity there are some which strongly imply he's Ryu's biological father, although I don't think it's ever been outright confirmed

It was to commemorate his recent battle with Ryu. He never forgot Ryu's odd smile, because who would ever smile happily in a death match?

@@nowanimportant8887 I wonder if that's a reference to Street Fighter Ryu: Final because in that manga when he was fighting Akuma for the final time, he was smiling

@@ProToken420 It can also be a reference to their canon fight in SF5, after Akuma whooped Ryu's ass. Ryu smiled as he lay defeated, which confused Akuma somewhat, but the master of the Dark Hado was quick to understand Ryu's reason and looked forward to their next battle iirc.

@@nowanimportant8887 I actually forgot about that, for all the hate it gets, I genuinely liked playing SFV, just wish on launch that it was the game people actually were expecting, on launch there was no arcade mode which is essential for fighting games

Capcom either doesn't take the story of SF seriously or they just straight up don't know how to write a good story. Unfortunate, because there is so much potential with the lore.

Street Fighter’s story only seems to be interesting when Bison and Shadaloo is involved. Bison’s dead (or so we think) and Shadaloo fell (but might be on the rise again).
