Good shit. But just a note for other people watching: a lot of these use up the entire drive gauge. So they're going to be extremely situational and will leave you in a vulnerable state. Not dissing the combos. Just something to keep in mind.

Was thinking about this at work, if you play a zoning character it would be good to use a big portion of your drive gauge and force your opponent to come in while your drive meter replenishes.

While they may be drive gauge heavy you can tweak them to use the parry drive cancels as your extenders with EX moves. Canceling a normal with drive gauge itself is wasteful . After seeing a link I didn’t know was possible here for his 214punch makes me wanna go mess with the stuff I was already playing with . He seems good at juggles from his qcb uppercuts .

@@JaiOfManyNames I noticed this. Since they were in a juggle state, they just used the parry cancel and continued the combo. Might get some insane anti air combos with that as well

That’s a fact I personally I think one should expend the entire drive gauge to either get the kill or get the opponent super low health or to t.o.d them at 50 percent because all drive and all C.A will kill a person at 50%

So to connect LK after HK, you need to space HK max range first!

I've been trying to do jumping heavy punch into heavy punch into perfect low flash knuckle into drive Rush crouching heavy punch into perfect medium flash knuckle then into ex flash knuckle on the wall bounce but I never can get it to connect... It looks like it hits player 2 but then it just whiffs? Is it just not possible or am I just bad?

2:27 I’m really struggling to connect his down heavy punch into his medium flash knuckle… my opponent always hits the ground before I can do that knock back flash knuckle attack… I also noticed when ever I do the full charged flash knuckle my opponent doesn’t flip in the air like when you do it… could you help me?

So to do this combo you want to do the perfect charges for both flash knuckles. Which is where you charge the attack until his forearms glow and produce a sound. Then you practice doing your drive rush after the Light Flash Knuckle as fast as you can, because you need the right amount of height for the Medium one to connect.

To combo into that Level 2, you need to do EX Shoulder Tackle

I like the idea in the second one | c.HP xx 214[LP], parry > 66 c.HP xx 214[MP], 236236p | That seems like really good value for low meter cost. You could probably sub the first hit for any HP and do 236k~p or 623p instead of the super if you don’t want to spend.

For the combo at 0:48 I cant figure out why my jumping MP isn’t connecting into 214 LP like yours did for the super, it’s driving me nuts ;-;

So you need to connect the perfect charge with 214LP and then immediately jump with j.MP to be able to juggle them. Sometimes the j.MP does not connect, but as long as you have the perfect charge for 214LP, you can definitely do it!

Has anyone else have the problemq with d2 n3 into rush. I can rush just n3 d2 and any other move but when I do d2 into n3 into rush it doesn't rush

We don’t use that notation in SF, but I’m assuming you mean 2MP into 5LK? Which seems to be weird, because that is indeed a string that can be drive rushed… Any luck doing it after posting this?

Yes it's a weird window it's not necessarily tight it just doesn't come out sometimes

You have to space it so that HK can hit at almost the end of the move, and that’s when you link LK!

Immediately After a punch u can just dash forward and it become a drive rush. Or u can just do forward and forward + both Mediums for quick drive rush.

Like he said, you input forward and then Medium Punch and Kick with forward again and it’ll come out instantly!

So you go to the character guide for Luke and select the Level 3 super guide. At one point of the guide it will tell you to press the touchpad to try it out yourself. And that’s how you basically practice in the demo!

If you pull off the perfect charge with 214LP then you should have time to Drive Rush into cr.HP into 214MP with perfect charge
