@@killiantruegames3670 It's mostly the gap in super majors. At the biggest tournaments Du either places below Punk, or got dominated by him. Punk brutalized Du at Gamers8, was 6 spots higher at EVO 2023. They have almost the same domestic success, but at the international stage Punk has been leaps ahead. Now with a legit major win up there with EVO Japan, Dreamhack, in a stacked CEO, the gap on the international scene is only growing bigger. Punk right now, is the biggest favorite to win EVO, Du is right now the 2nd best in US. Du is still a top 10 player rn, but Punk is consistently in the top 5 and right now is being considered no.1 in July, and he's gonna solidify that ranking if he finally wins that EVO.
