Because a big part of the Japanese language is context. He was talking to her, not referring to her by her name, and because it was established that he was talking to her, she just said her name as a response. This time, it was translated as "I...have...a...name", because that is the general idea of what they were talking about for a few moments, and because they both know her name. The rules of their language are kind of weird to explain.
