Street food is really delicious! And it’s easy to buy and eat. I’m from the North of China, every year summer in my hometown in the evening ,there are a lot of vendors put tables and chairs on the side of the streets, they sell mutton shashlik. Children and adult, men and women like it. Especially it’s in the hot summer night, people like to drink beer and eat mutton shashlik until middle night. Some people can eat 50 at one time. When you eat first then you want to second and you want to continue, no stop.Mutton Shashlik is cut small pieces of mutton and string with bamboo sticks and should be turned repeatedly to let them heated evenly, finally put seasoning on the top.Street food made many people became rich in my hometown. Thank you for making wonderful program,it reminds me to think many about street food interesting things!

Hello Spotlight, Thank you, Liz Waid, for producing this program. Thank you, guys for your voice. Andhra Pradesh, India. I would like to share one of the favorite street food from South India. It’ called Paper Sweet (calling reginal language PUTHAREKULU). Which made from rice, other ingredients follow by traditional process and experts are required to make it. Usually, made thin layers which are very sensitive like thine paper and these layers could be store for long time. The vendor starts prepare PUTHAREKULU once layers are ready. We have two type of taste the vendor adds Jagiri or Sugar powder by the wish of Customers. It contain a little Ghee, Dry foods, Other ingredients and fold like a big bar. When you eat you feel sweety, yummy, softy, nutty and lite.
