What is travel insurance for exactly? Why do you need it? Also..how were the gyozas? Didnt get to get your review at the end... lol
Most Thais do not speak English. They may understand and can reply in simple English, so the tips for you to communicate more effectively with Thai people are to speak slower and don’t use long sentence or fancy words (unless you see their level of English proficiency is good). Long conversation spoken fast could easily confuse them as they try to listen carefully to catch words they know of in order to understand what you ask and respond to you. The first dish you had that tasted similar to oat meal (it’s congee) and the fried dough that came with it, as well as the Bah Jang, are actually Cantonese foods. Most Chineses immigrated to Thailand many generations ago came from Canton so there’s fusion of those foods into Thai tastes - bolder and spicier. All the foods you picked looked dilicious. ❤️ Next time, you should try Guay Tiew, which is noodle. There are many types of noodle soups in Thailand and the one that is unique to Thai is called boat noodle, which has brown colour soup (mix of herbs and a bit of pork blood). Pad See Ew (stir fried flat noodle with dark sweet soy sauce, eggs and Thai kale) and Rad Na (stir fried noodle topped with gravy sauce). The popular one among foreigners is Northern style curry base Khao Soi. Actually, there are endless foods that you just need to pick and try. They are all good 👍🏻

5:00 congee, in thai language we call "jok". for this menu i recommend "Jok Prince" near Bang Rak, this shop is legendary jok in thailand very delicious 14:00 Bajang or sticky rice dumpling is a Chinese food. It is made of sticky rice stuffed with various ingredients such as salted pork, pork sausage, salted egg (yolk only), dried shrimps, beans, ginkgo, mushrooms, etc. It is wrapped in bamboo leaves and then steamed.

Welcome to Thailand and thank you to love Thailand, Basically porridge in Thailand, they will made in tasteless then we can add soybean sauce, if you like a tang flavor, you can add some more ground dry chilly and vinegar. Some tip for the fried rice and others menu similar, Thai mostly add some chilly in fish sauce, that's amazing! Hope you're enjoy in every trips you are visit.

Hi Chris, I just found your channel. Are you still in Thailand? The food you had are all my favorite. Watching your VDO making me hungry. I’m Thai but used to live in Seattle for 3and a half years. The coffee owner, she looks friendly. Bah-chang (sticky rice dumpling) is usually not hot but the one in Chinatown they may put more pepper in it. I think you went to Chinatown too early. Most of the shops may be opened at lunch until midnight(my guess). Next time please go there in the evening, you’ll find many more street-food which are unforgettable. Thx for your VDO, I enjoyed it. Good luck!!!
