One of the best places I did that was at MBK, and I got an Olympus water-resistant camera (and this was long before the first GoPro even came out) and I used it while boating at the river market and people were looking at me like I was crazy! Hi Chris, i currently use the DJI action 3, the DJI pocket 2 and the new insta360 GO 3 for my youtube channel and have NEVER had an issue with over heating. A lot of South East Asia vloggers always complain about the go pro and its overheating problems. Hi Chris Some tips to maybe help you with Go Pro overheating you may be able to try 1. Great action camera's, but I don't think they are designed to run consistently for say 30/40 mins + sadly Go Pro as you know chops up the footage any way to 15 min bits in case the file gets corrupted and you don't lose all your footage if it happens. Try doing smaller clips of, say, 3, 5 mins and edit them together 2. If you record in 4k, make sure your frame rate is 24 or 30 max unless you want to do slow mo. If you are recording at 60 or 120 fps the camera is trying to process them at that speed, which generates heat 3. When walking around, ensure you use a stick or tripod and esp when sitting at a restaurant. With the bottom 2 feet out it helps dissipate heat 5. Make sure you have the right sd card spec. If you don't, the camera has to work harder to process, causing more heat 6. Turn off hypersmooth when stationary in say a restaurant as the camera will continue to try and run Hypersmooth when it doesn't need to, generating more heat 7. A hack that I've heard about but not tried is to get the media mod which is cheaper then a new camera and with the battery still in the camera, attach an external power source via the USB on the media mod, which apparently keeps the heat constant and I've heard of run times doing this of 40 mins plus. As I say, I haven't tried it myself, but maybe other viewers have who could comment Sorry for the long post my friend, but I'm just trying to help you save some money and get over the heat issues. All the best

@Travelwithchris a pleasure mate Ulanzi do an aluminium cage for the Go Pro, which alledgedly is better than the media mod because being metal it acts as a heat sink and disapaptes heat even better.
