It's recommended to travel in groups with a local, keep emergency contact numbers with you and avoid certain areas of the cities. It's nothing like Japan.

Hermano, aqui te esperamos. Aqui hay tortillas con carne, guacamol y chirmol (tacos de carne), tortllas con queso (quesadillas), etc. Nuestra comida es muy parecida a la del sur de Mexico, muy parecida, pero no tienen nombres invididuales todas las iteraciones de comida a base de tortillas. Pedis un taco en Guatemala te dan una flauta.
