Incredible the amount of access to the restaurant they gave you. And they wouldn't even let you pay despite that you did not reserve with them to see the restaurant before-hand. Incredible hospitality. May they be blessed for their kindness.

My parents used to take us for a dinner at Beyti about 30-35 years ago! Always remember it as a special place. It was a lot simpler but still a luxury restaurant. There weren't many 'special' places like this back then. I also remember Gelik and Kasibeyaz near Florya also been really good.

Beyti rest.is famous with its Beyti kebab which is my fav.dish in the kebab world.I still remember my visit this rest.around 1975 when i was a kid.

My favorite meat restaurant in the world. The Doner when you get there exactly at noon, and get the "first cut" is by far the best doner i've ever had in my life. The place is a very special old school institution.

As a Turkish person who has lived in Istanbul for 27 years, I have to say that Beyti is the best place for a great meal and a nice evening. The meat is always of the highest quality and, to be honest, not that expensive compared to other restaurants at the same level. It’s my favorite place of all time in Istanbul.

I thought the place is somewhere around Hacıosman or something, when Mark said it's a bit outskirts of the city, surprised when I learned he meant Florya as "outside" Really shows how our sense of vastness differs as İstanbulers compared to foreigners, mate!
