I had a few Iranian friends from college, and they were all so down to earth and nice. They should get an A for hospitality. All travel documentaries also show how lovely and kind they are. I LOVE the people of Iran and God bless them. The media has painted such a bad image of them, it’s so sad. I hope to visit someday. Plus their food is so lovely.

One has to question the obligations of the various media angles portrayed in those news feeds...& whether specific agendas actively deny truth in favour of propagandic schemes designed for "others" purview. Honest discovery & friendship beat EVERY enemy, prescribed in media or mythic altogether. Mark is doing more for international relations than plane loads of travelling dignitaries heading to security summits across the world, be sure of that in every upload.

I traveled all around iran and I found out that people of north of iran are the best , honest and friendly people ever I missed iran dearly too I'm from N/W of iran that I left 20 years ago and never went back and always telling to my kids how beautiful north of iran is .

I went to Teheran last year for two weeks and wasn't impressed by the pollution, traffic, noise and dark skies outside. But I was absolutely infected by "Iranavirus" that is the love and generosity of the people. I'm now watching these videos with great sentimentality and joy, remembering the hearts that touched me (and not to mention the food!). You make me smile and yearn to return to this amazing land. Of all your travels I think your Iran series has been one of my favorites.I think the food and the hospitality of the people is what makes the country really shine.I have never seen such beautifully prepared food that looked so delicious as the walnut/gravy meal.Another highlight was you learning the proper way to drink tea😆

I'm doing so much catching up on this channel. I'm really enjoying the Iran videos so far. Jordan has been my top favorite but this one might just be up there with it. I love that Mark and Ying go anywhere and everywhere and are always warmly received. Food is an international language, something everyone has in common with everyone as we all need to eat to live, yet that is expressed in so many differently unique ways all over the world and Mark and Ying aren't afraid to go and partake. And THAT is why I love this channel!

not all pomegranates are made equal, if the skin is too thick it's no good, you just get a meaty bitter taste. also if it has cracks juices get out of all the cracks. otherwise make sure you squeeze well before biting it. enjoy

@@adamkhabazian3249 a lot of pommegrats sold in western supermarkets are no good for this at all. If you compare them to native countries, they're so small, pale and acidic. I love pommegrannate but I need to use it only for certain recipes, it's really not genuine

@@RockstarEater Try anything that you could find that is Turkish and stay away from cheap döner it is just not healthy . But I would say try imam bayıldı , karnıyarık they are the same thing but IB is the vegetarian version of it. Also içli köfte is just amazing if you could find a place that makes a good one just eat the hell out of it.
