To be honest, when you was saying in the previous video that it was your last day in Sai Gon, i was deadass thought that u gonna leave Viet Nam which made me sad little bit. The purple color in the xôi is actually "lá cẩm", a medicinal herb in Asian cuisine, acting as coloring agent (that beautiful color you saw) and medicinal benefit (treat coughing, stop bleeding wound etc). Vietnamese also have xôi gấc , the red/orange xôi, make from sticky rice with Gấc fruit, really tasty xôi, usually served with roast pork or chả lụa.
