Pat just needs to keep his trap shut. He wanted to distance himself from the deal after he forced Lizzy to keep the protest going when it was Kye that started it then retracted it. He didn’t even know the rules because he was too dumb to even know his team had violated them too but still pressed it to get two guys DQed at the bottom of the rankings. That whole ordeal made Nola look like a bunch of tit bags.

In thar case everyone would race Top Fuel cars with no weight limits, blower restrictions , unlimited cubic inch, etc.? @@GidDree I think the point he was making is that without a serious handicap those cars wouldn't be able to hang. Inferior technology that only stays relevant if you give them a huge weight advantage. Nobody is suggesting no rules run what you brung, but having one set of rules that applies to every single car would certainly eliminate Nitrous cars from even being able to compete at this level. If every car had to weigh a minimum of 3000 pounds the nitrous teams would struggle to ever win a race. Pat Musi would be as irrelevant as his motors are overnight, which I don't see as a bad thing. If your engines can't produce the same results as what you're trying to compete against then it's time to improve your technology.

@@TheFlooringInspector82 yes weight is used for parity. I agree you can't really run a 3000hp car with a 5000hp car at the same weight. However if you ran a class according to horsepower and weight meaning every car had to be 3000lbs and 3000hp there would be cars that would be in trouble as well. Turbo cars didn't have a boost rule that I saw. Screwblowers had a 98 percent overdrive rule. Weight split wasn't super crazy.
