Love your polite way of wandering and shooting. The longer lens allowed you to shoot some awesome street portraits with quite an intimate insight into people’s live and work. Thank you for a lovely video. Dominic

Thanks for watching! Im using the old dji osmo pocket. It has its cons (lens not really wide enough) but its way cheaper than a gopro and osmo action especially on the used market.

Nice video, dude! As a Z50 owner my self im quite surprised with the performance in low light and the combo with the 16mm it's just great. I was thinking on buying that lens but now im 100% sure about it! I will be visiting Japan on february of 2024 if all goes well so this video gave me inspiration for the photos i want to take. Thanks!

Thanks! Glad you liked this video. Yeah z50 is really great in low light especially when paired with the sigma16mm. One thing to note is that most of the photos taken from the 16mm ended up being cropped more because i find it too wide for my taste. In that case you may also consider the nikon 24mm f1.7. Smaller and cheaper.

Beautiful photo, I also want to buy this lens, what are the 1.4 aperture, ISO and shutter speed at night?
@Lenstrovert Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Its a quality lens and the only donwside in my opinion is the lack of stabilization in the lens. As for my settings at night, i leave it to Aperture priority. Minimim ss set to 1/200, and max iso set to 6400. Then set to highlight metering and +2/3 up to +1 exposure compensation. This setting is great for night shots with bright lights like the places in this video. 🙂

@@Lenstrovert Thank you for your reply. Is the aperture at night 1.4 and the average ISO below 1000?
@Lenstrovert Жыл бұрын
@@旅行攝 yeah i kept the aperture at 1.4. (1.8 when i switched to the 50mm) Then in most of the photos the iso were between 200-400. There are some photos that jumped to 2200 iso but if you have a camera released in the past 5 years i think thats not a problem and the photos would still look good.

Thanks for commenting! Yeah I also feel that way about the longer focal length. It’s also safer. 😁
