I agree with you. It's been a lot of fun since I've started. I have a smaller Fujifilm X-T20 and use one of two primes. I shoot acros jpegs and edit for exposure and highlights/shadows and that's very quick. It's been neat to go around Houston and take photos of people and scenes. There is tons of street photography on IG so I post there to document, but I'm not trying to become the next IG street star or anything. I would like to make a photobook maybe one day. I shoot a lot around mainstreet so it might be neat to turn it into a project. Keep up the good work and yes, enjoy photography!
