HI Nick 👋 I once was living as a gay man. I no longer do. I was miserable. I had a issue with alcohol. One day i had passed out on the floor after consuming a large amount of alcohol. I came around . I was an atheist, when i drank. I cried out to God for the first time in my life. He answered me. I have stopped drinking. It's a miracle because i was a hopeless drunk. I have sobriety now thanks to the good lord , he has saved me.

As a 15 year Police officer both in the military and Federal capacity, I can say without a shadow of a doubt those Cops had no idea how to handle that situation and were probably scared to do anything. The officer that was speaking was not confident in his answers, nor correct, and his body language and speech pattern gave it away. That was embarrassing. Their conduct was a shame.

I found out in 4th grade was gay was and ever since then, with all the pressure from friends and mentors, it was a downward spiral. I started dating at 11 and have probably kissed with more girls than boys, I would do sexual acts and foreplay, had issues with suicidiality, panic disorder, and satanic rituals like cutting oneself. I was “Non-Binary” for a while but the one night I had the urge to read my Bible and it was a crazy experience. This feeling of such overwhelming love came over me when I was praying for the first time in years, and ever since then I have jumped full force into Christianity. I still struggle with sin, as does anyone, but I hope this story inspires people to realize that you only need God in your life to turn things around, and anything can be accomplished through him. I too am a street preacher and a Scottish pipe major. Hey Nick, I lived as a gay man since I was 14, I’m 24 now, was addicted to opiates, alcohol, weed, living in the gay lifestyle pretty much since 14. Was searching for male validation my whole life, I CRAVED it because I didn’t receive it from my father. A question to you: The biblical god Yahwe is supposed to have created the universe, the earth and the humans. Not surprised by the police officer reactions. I was literally assaulted by deputy in Jackson county wv for preaching without amplification. Sheriff covered it up and threatened to arrest me for trying to file a complaint. You can't win in the authority of the world but you will win with the authority of God. Bless you
