Transmission isn't gonna shift right without the mass airflow sensor, and the mass airflow sensor won't work right without the O² sensors. Hook everything up before you decide it's a bad transmission or not

@10:06 The scanner shows both solenoids activated which should be 1st gear, and it sounded like it was taking off in 3rd which you both noticed. I would pull the pan and make sure the linkage arm is hooked up correctly to the manual valve on the valve body. Here is a video showing the little linkage im talking about, I would at least check that first before pulling it. kzbin.infoNeeEdtnIvmI?si=rGEwLFFj8-GWW9ax It could also be a bad solenoid, or just a leak somewhere inside the trans, did it have any transmission trouble codes?

Ok I will check it out but I will have him to check it cuz I’m not a tranmission guy if he know build tranmission n drove the car he should know how to check for stuff like tht. Correct

@ it was showing any codes all he said it was demanding first gear but taking off in 4th gear. I could manually shift it then it drop dwn to 1st gear shift sec n thts it now wen I tried it yesterday it’s just holding first the whole time so now it want shift at all it’s holding first the whole time now

Check that big plug that go to the trans. It’s an arrow on it. Cant remember if it be on top or bottom. If I’m not mistaken that plug will fit 2 different ways. At least on a 4l80 it’s like that. Mine wouldn’t shift out and the plug im telling you bout I had had to rotate it. Some to check.

Is that a holley efi or some other stand alone set up on your car Those universal wiring harness suck but a custom harnesses are expensive

I had the cheap one on there at first the I bought the BP wire harness the sec time so I shouldn’t have no problem with it now
