I've lived in the Netherlands now for a bit over three years... I honestly forgot how invasive the cops are in Australia. You really have to be doing something really wrong to get pulled over here. Australia seems like a police state looking at this (even though they were nice enough). Good job Ben loved the scrapathon.

@John Doe police cars if damaged in a crash always get the part replaced as cop cars in australia are specialy built so in the door theres much more that could be damaged then in a normal car(example windows and in 90% doors are bullet proof and also house eletronics

God every time I watch one of Ben's videos Im 1) jealous of the quality of street scrap in Australia and 2) always pointing out stuff he misses. Like all of those fan motors that have copper coils, that huge induction plate that's all copper, that espresso machine, and that brand new rice cooker! So much good stuff.

Yeah every 6 months normally here in Australia, I don't have a scrap business like Ben but every time it happens in my suburb I go out and pick a few things worth a little bit of money and sell them, make $50 - $200 every 6 months on it for fun.

Im amazed at how much stuff in general is out there. Even on garbage days in my area (US) anything outside of the bin woth scrapping still kinda scarce. Scrap and non-scrap

The rule in these parts is always check the suitcases; I saw a scrapper pull an 18k (.750) gold necklace out of the zipper on one once. That's my kind of gold recovery! I'd have bagged the rice cooker at the end if it was new, but someone else probably will. Those things are useful.

Sure ... this piece of refrigeration equipment was waiting to be properly treated and its gas properly reclaim. The answer is, who is gonna to pay for that. Otherway it will start leaking as soon as it is crushed by the garbage truck ... Some system started to use even propane as refrigerant, since it can be vented no probs.
