C8Z06 is going to take down the ZR1's VIR time I'd be willing to bet. What little the ZR1 has going straight, the Z06 is going to come off the corner like a rocket compared to the ZR1. C8Z is very likely the faster car on track....nothin you'll ever see watching these two though...they get Corvettes and drive straight.

Definitely an awesome video yes indeed. It's as I expected in a real world situation. Unfortunately for both of you dealing with cooler temperatures it still cool to see how both stack up to each other. Love corvettes especially the C7 ZR1 but for the C8 Z06's N/A flat plane crank V8 mid rear engine keeping up close to the last front engine supercharged V8 is simply amazing.

Dual clutch transmissions also give less drivetrain loss than normal autos because it’s essentially an automated manual with no clutch so I think those Dyno numbers are actually very accurate. I’m very impressed with the new zo6 it’s honestly my new dream car

Its just the opposite. DCTs are 2x as heavy and bigger, and DCTs always engage two gears at once. Its optimized for shift speed and sub-optimized for torque, acceleration, braking, and turning.

There are 34,500 miles and 34 months left on the warranty. The ZR has 23k miles on it. Today I let one of my best friends drive it before it gets gone! He had a blast but I kept it on the traction control:)
