Forgot to mention maybe instead of a couch and love seat. You could always go with a sectional.

That was the initial plan actually! I've got a whole series of videos on the channel documenting the evolution of this room and I kept saying I was going to get a sectional. Then my buddy moved houses and asked if I wanted his old couches, so I jumped on the deal! I've got those in now, you can see them in my newest room update video that I posted recently 😉

When my media room took on water damage during the winter thaw I had to get rid of 17 3'x6' shelves and the Family Video in my city was closing shop and they had their hard molded plastic shelves 6'x8' for $5CAD each and they had at least 30 seeing they were all along the outer walls of the store. I wanted to buy at least 9 but I knew they sadly wouldn't look good in my media room once it was finished the renovation. That's a crazy deal. I also remember watching that Cereal at Midnight video when it was released and I was dead set on installing those when I got a place. Plans changed a bit when I saw the fb listing of these!

@@streetlightcinema Ya, I was the opposite. If I would have went with the Family Video shelves I would have lost around 3 feet on both sides of my room instead of just around 11". I also would have run out of room for movies. I'm around 18,000 movies/TV Series.
