Too say, that such behavior creates a hostile work environment, would be an understatement. It's true the general manager should have done something about his behavior, no matter what, with no excuse. Because he is related to the CEO should not be a factor. He should be reprimanded like everyone else in the company. In some companies in the US, family members are not allowed to work in the same company because favoritism could be shown and that family member could feel privileged. I was happy to see the CEO was doing something about his brothers behavior and possibly fire him. The general manager should have been fired immediately.
