Honestly, the vette is your baby. It feels like a massive reason you fell in love with the platform of the c7s is how you can make them as fast as you have while still maintaining the daily drivability. I think keeping the vette where it is and like you said build the lambo or find something else that gives you that crazy mph would be the best way to go. Although a wing aids rear tire grip at speed, the resulting downforce comes at the cost of drag. In aviation this is referred to as 'lift induced drag". Or, as with the ZR1: downforce induced drag. Therefore, if you want to go as fast as possible, in a straight line, you would benefit by using a spoiler*. For example those you’ve seen on countless C6 and C7 Vettes. They’re very low profile and have a slight upward angle, approximately 1/4” high, at the trailing (rear) edge. Again, a spoiler is a device designed to help prevent airflow off the rear of the vehicle from acting like a turbulent waterfall, thus resulting in drag and a (small) reduction in top speed. Note: Some rear “wings” as they’re often called are in fact not wings at all. However, the ‘high wing’ on the C7 ZR1 is in fact a wing since it has a definite airfoil shape. Meaning the underside is curved being thicker at the front (leading edge) and tapers at the rear (trailing edge). The “low wing” option, although it’s also often referred to as a “wing” is not in fact a wing at all. Instead, it’s a ‘spoiler’, although an expensive one. Again, a spoilers function is to prevent and/or reduce drag. Hence they do not generate downforce like a wing, although some are often incorrectly referred to as such.

I don't do the bracket racing dippy, I go there to race people and have fun. When I race people I let them set the pace (inside lane sets pace) and I go when they go. Like you saw me do racing the orange ZR1. When I was shooting for 180 I was just trying to achieve that MPH as I stated. I can start at whatever speed I want.

Reasons for keeping the LT5: -the LT5 is what makes the ZR1 special -more bottom-end torque = more fun on the street Reasons to go Twin Turbo: -more top-end power -rolling anti-lag is a game changer for racing -easier to make changes for track/road conditions via a boost controller Conclusion: Due to the LT5 blower being maxed out, you should either stop racing that car, or change the boost setup to open up the possibility of 200mph.

It honestly sounds better with the windows up. If both ZR1s make the same horsepower, it was the fact that he removed the high wing which helps on the top end. I wonder how stable it really is at high speed! I feel like the car would be hovering on the ground! 😱 Damn terrifying!!! I remember in the manual it states "DO NOT remove rear spoiler as handling at higher speed might be dangerous." Something along those lines! 😂

Great job on 180! Twin turbo V10 is the best platform right now so I would either buy a huracan or R8. SVJ would be really cool but that is so much money and not many people have done it. I could see running into quite a few issues with that. Wish you would’ve kept the viper. Calvo and Nth moto are just absolutely killing it with big HP monsters that are reliable. Seems like R8 and lambo platforms aren’t as reliable (a lot of drive train issues). Turbo Richie Rich has videos of his viper on KZbin running around 2.6 60-130 on street. Pretty insane stuff.

@@haydenroyer it's a small block chevy that's been bord and stroked to 427 cubic inches. There are kits that include everything needed to do this. I said 427 because it seems to be pretty popular but I'm not sure what kits are available for the engine that's in the corvette. Just my opinion I'd buy a new engine for the car and put the original engine in storage just in case you want to put it back to in the car someday. There are several companies that sell a complete performance engine that's ready to drop in
