Mangosteens in Malaysia and Singapore are sold the entire fruit. Imo it isn’t hard to peel. It is often actually ate with durian. In Australia mangosteens can cost $13 a kilo. (312 bht) I don’t think I have time to come here if on a 3 days Bangkok trip. Might be too far

Yes, I'm jealous that you get to eat all these amazing tropical fruits cause I live in Canada and tropical fruits like durian, mangosteen, longan, lychee, and mangoes are quite expensive. Even pineapple prices have risen quite considerably recently due to pineapple shortages and increasing cost of fertilizers....sigh! I definitely need to return to S.E.Asia to live.

Sanuk maak maak & ahan aroi maak maak. One very small suggestion. In the US we pronounce "lychee" as "leechee". We just pronounce it differently from the way it is spelled. I am not sure why but we do😀

Opal doesnt have a Thai accent at all for someone whom has english as a second language. Almost sounds like she learned english in Singapore or something. Raw Mangosteen? Vs cooked? Its a fruit.

@gchow60096 ай бұрын
I think she meant young green mangosteens. They’re not mature and ripe to eat. When mangosteens are not ripe, they’re very tarty. That’s why they have to process it. She calls it raw because that’s how it says in Thai language.

I'm quite fond of your videos and your video editing skills, but I've observed an increase in sound effects that, in my opinion, detract from the overall quality of the content. Perhaps it's just my personal preference, but I found your earlier videos more appealing. They had a way of immersing me in the experiences you were sharing. In contrast, your latest videos seem reminiscent of a late-night travel channel program.
