just found your channel, great stuff! I would appreciate a video about how should I warm up before I lift? Mobility? Stretching? Specific Exercises? Sets? Reps? How should a proper lower body, upper body and full body workout look like? How should I warm up for a lifting workout when I do squats, deadlifts, bench press etc.? Thank you very much

Nice description. Couldn't have explained it better. Train for your sport is the key. As a sprint coach myself for 17yrs. I've trained plenty of teams for speed too. When we do speed endurance sessions on grass ovals. Ive often see guys who are clearly football players running lap after slow lap of the oval. They go past and I say. "Training for a marathon?" They go "nuh". Next lap I ask them. "why are you training for one then?" They answer. "I'm training for football (rugby league)." I say to them. "Really were do you run continuously for more than 10 to 50m in a football game? Because I've never seen it". They are always gob smacked. Lol Then if they want I give them some examples and discuss training for there sport.

Run 4K one day then 8k the next. Run 6 times per week. Increase distance every 8 weeks for 2years until you are running 8/16km. When Training to race a mile you need to train like a distance runner. Run your long runs slow at 120-140 beats per minute hr. After 2 years add track sessions on same day as your short runs. Do 4-8 x 1k with 1:30 - 2 mins recovery. Do 20 x 200m with 30s recovery or 10 x 400 with 1min recovery. 4 x 1mile with 400 jog recovery plus 5x100m.
