Enjoy the first part of our strength training series. We show you how to train important muscle groups in order to become faster and prevent injury! Regarding Sets and Reps, that highly depends on age, skill and ambition level. Important is that you feel comfortable and have a clean excution of the drills. You start with fewer reps and sets and slowly build up. And it should never exceed 10 reps and 3 sets. Enjoy!

During pre-season you can do these drills, 2-3 a week and during the season, we recommend including 2 of the drills (you can choose which ones) into your warm-up or recovery session.

When doing the first box drill… does the planted foot on the box stay flat or do you extend up on your toes?

You do not need to extend all the way up to your toes, but it is important to be flexible within the movement.
