I made the test in a 1GB HF Server. 25 Clients per second, no errors with a total of 1500 Clients 50 Clients per second, no errors with a total of 3000 Clients 100 Clients per second, error with a total of 5998 Clients (2 clients did not get through) I did not expect this results, and double check the clients per second setting. Thanks for the video Jonathan

Definitely try the Vultr HF servers, they’ve got more CPU compute for this type of intensive load test. I like this and K6 (definitely worth you looking at), not enough web admins are load testing for these spikes of traffic.

Interesting. My share webhosting plan can handle 500-1000 clients/s when the server-side caching is enabled ( all external GET and HEAD requests are sent to an NGINX reverse proxy for caching ). But it can barely handle 5 clients/s when it's not enabled.

It would be interesting to try and minimize load on your server through various tricks and see how much you can improve the results, without throwing more hardware resources at it.

@Permaslug Should the website be tested only if it has the definitive content or can we test it with the default theme and no content to have an idea of the limits of our host?

This will be amazing Jonathan! I was actually just searching for a week for this exact topic! Was able to find Loadster which has a limited free plan but didn't really know what to do exactly! Are you gonna try with WooCommerce? I know the Post function from Woo is draining the performance!

Dude, the second server, is just unreal-fast: your hosting provider is caching results.
