Hi Dominik, I have been following you for a couple of years now, mostly because of your calisthenics video and frank, honest and no bs personality. I have trained martial arts my whole life and I just wanted you to know how thankful I am to you for posting such great content. It is amazing to see you grow as a person which makes it easier to connect to you. Stay strong champion 💪🤙

Love hearing your perspective on failure, especially the "looking back when I'm 50". Great stuff.

Great kicks and good punches. What is your approach to setting up a high kick? I generally tend to use punches to hide the kick, or try and get the opponent to circle into the kick, or I'll use pattern interruption by having a combo or a kick I've used and then switching it up for something that starts out the same but hits a different target (like going from front kick to question mark kick, or jab cross low roundhouse kick to jab cross roundhouse kick where you bring the leg up to head level a bit late... Wonderboy Thompson style). I know in Muay Thai, it looks to unfamilair eyes (like mine) like there's less of a setup, but it's more based on footwork rhythm or something like that.... so maybe that's what you're doing.... but if you're just throwing naked head kicks, maybe some setups will benefit you. :) Rooting for ya :)

I don't think you're too old to go all in with mma now. I'm just a little older than you and starting martial arts myself, I always wanted to but never had the time and money to do it until now. Never too late!

Hey, nice podcast, yes go for it, what I like is when there is someone good at the gym to watch and motivate, like a guy I buy eye glasses from I find out has an exercise science degree, and he is beautiful and I’m on the rower and he is doing walking lunges with kettlebells backwards and forwards and these other clowns who go Every day , are doing sled pulls for an hour, mostly everyone in the gym are beginners, and I do t say it , but like I wanted to say why don’t three of you go out to parking lot and pick up a car all three of you? It’s not their fault but if there’s no one good to watch, well different . I’m 71 and training g for a chin up no assist, I was a professional dancer, classically trained and went to school for strength training , I loved your speech , this comment is probably as long as that, you are a great athlete no matter what, no one can take technique away . I took some karate in my 40, s loved , loved it but quit because I’m small and would have gotten squish in contact kickboxing, sorry for the rant , you are funny and wonderful N

I think it's not a failure if you try and things don't end up as you thought they would, failure is to be scared like a little bitch and don't go for something that you really want bro🤠
