Good review! I plan on getting one as a truck gun. In Oklahoma you can't have a loaded rifle in your vehicle but a loaded pistol is legal so I can carry it loaded in my truck.

Thanks for the review. Bought the A2 a couple days before the roller delayed version came out :( they need to make a conversion kit to the roller delay version
@Persocondes4 жыл бұрын
i have both the gen 2 and 3. it's difficult to convert without getting people hurt and getting sued, the gen3 bolt does drop straight in, except the older guns does not have the roller channel for the roller to lock, so if people just drop in bolts, a lot of blood will spill. the barrel has to be disassembled and the barrel support needs to be changed out to the gen 3 with the roller channel built in.

Good vid, I just received mine and I'm itching to get some shots off with it. I have the A1 Gen 2 and love it but I'm curious how much of that "snap" goes away with this new system.

Sweet man. I just got a Gen 2. Just found out the A3 is available. Kinda bummed but hey maybe I’ll pick up an a3 in the future when they are more available and maybe a little cheaper. I just got mines today and it’ll be my first time shooting a 9mm carbine hopefully I like it. Thanks for the video bother.
@nikolai90984 жыл бұрын
Understandable being bummed but think of it this way, you certainly won’t be bummed if there ends up being reliability issues, while you get to practice w/ the cheaper more reliable little brother, and then get to scoop up the lower prices in about year. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Also just bought and A2 and feel lucky just being able to find one for sale. Like it was said before, this gen already has had kinks worked out of it. The gen 3 is brand new, not really tested too much.

I ended up going out to a spot to run some ammo through it several weeks ago. Ran apx 100 rounds and had all kinds on malfunctions. Basically all the ones MAC had on his forts one. The mags would pop rounds randomly and it cause double feeds with stove pipes. Had about 15/17 malfunctions with 2 out of the 3 mags. I hit up global ordnance and they said mine probably had an incorrect spring that had higher tension than normal. I put a new softer spring through it. Just waiting to find some 9mm to take it out again and see if it fixed the issue. It’s always salty when something you anticipate for so long doesn’t deliver as expected.

@@AMx39 Damn, how have the mags held up?
@AMx394 жыл бұрын
Logan so far they haven’t cracked. GO sent me a replacement for the 2 faulty mags. I haven’t been able to take em out though due to the heat in AZ and lack of ammo. Don’t want to blow through my 9mm right now. I’ll be installing a spring kit for the trigger in a few days and will go test it along with sighting a new Hilo’s in green dot I just got. Hopefully it works fine with the new bCG spring and mags I got from GB.

Indeed. Sent the SBR paperwork off on Friday. It’s getting the B&T stock and MP5 K grip on the front. 🙌🏻

Let us know what you think of the B & T Stock. I'm a bigger guy myself (6'3, 240lbs) so I also need a longer stock. I plan to SBR it so no worries there. Do you know if there are any compatible longer handguards? I'd like to leave a suppressor on it and use the longer guard to encase the barrel and most of the can.
@theuncouthtruth95514 жыл бұрын
If it’s too short the HK UMP stock is similar but a bit longer. But I’ll definitely keep you updated. And as far as hand guards, because the upper/handgaurd is integrated, they only come in one size. The only alternative would to have your barrel chopped if you’re trying to flush the suppressor.

Technically this isn't a roller delayed gun. The bolt face twists before the bolt moves to the rear, no rollers as in an H-K MP5 or one of it's clones.
@Persocondes4 жыл бұрын
false, bolt face does not twist, it uses 1 single roller above that rides in a locking channel and actuates a second mass that is ramped and under spring pressure in front of the roller
@stevenkuznar91654 жыл бұрын
It's a simple and effective ramped cam pin to create a "delayed blowback", no rollers like HK.

In your test, were you able to do rapid shooting? Mag dump style shooting to test the malfunction he was having
@theuncouthtruth95514 жыл бұрын
akaTheDevil yes. I was. Next follow up video, I’ll have some footage. Just waiting on the atf to get off their ass with the form 1 roadblocks. That way I don’t get into trouble when I debut the second video. Round count is bout 700 thanks to the ammo crisis as well. But I’ll have a thousand under the belt before I air it. So far, zero malfunction with ball fmj. Haven’t tested with Jhp but I’m hearing bad things. It’s safer to say it’s picky with hollow and flat nose. I’ll go into quite a bit more detail as I’m starting to have a bit more experience with it.

Update on how this ran for you? What ammo did you use?
@theuncouthtruth95514 жыл бұрын
Jay G update is coming out in about two weeks unfortunately. I have about 1200 rounds at this point. Ammo has been crazy expensive and I’m waiting to get the ATF approval after paying the King’s ransom for the follow up. Should be sometime this week I haven’t had any problems but there is definitely some things to discuss about improvement that I’ll explain in the video. Not so much the gun as the gen 2 mags.. Thus far, CCI, white box, and Speer lawman which is almost the same as CCI.

Are the mags, bolt and spring compatible with the A1?
@theuncouthtruth95514 жыл бұрын
The mags are. But I don’t believe the bolt is.
@Persocondes4 жыл бұрын
mags are, bolt is absolutely not, it will explode if you drop in the bolt, because older gen guns does not have a channel for the roller to drop in in lock, basically your bolt will very maturely cycle out of battery as the bullet is exploding

A suggestion for speaking on camera/in public: try to reduce the use "uhms" and "uhs". Pauses fill those spaces just as well and make it easier for your watchers/listeners.
