Strictly speaking (no pun intended), this isn't Riverdance. It's a separate show put on by Michael Flatley called (as you might expect from the music) "Lord of the Dance", where this number was used for the finale. Doubtless many people danced in both Riverdance and Lord of the Dance, but they were separate shows.

Easy when you know how to Irish dance and with practice. My dance school used to do a dance similar to the end of the Lord of the Dance and then perform it on St Patricks day with getting pub goers up to try and dance with us. It was funny to watch them fail

I don't really watch the Dance Programmes, but, isn't it mainly Ballroom stuff on this Programme? I'm just totally curious are these Dancers River-Dancers that they just brought in for this Showpiece, or are they the Show's Pro-Dancers that either have Background in Irish-Dancing or just pick up different styles of dancing very quickly?! The reason I ask, is because, Ballroom stuff and Irish-Dancing never really collide... A Ballroom Dancer may never have Irish-danced in their lives, and an Irish-Dancer could be crap at Jiving and Waltzing!
