It’s really cool to watch how Mikey’s palate has changed since I started watching 6 years ago. I remember when he wouldn’t touch sushi 🍣 now he loves it

Sushi is one of those things you have to get past the "eww" factor for many people. They love the flavors, just don't connect them. Most people expect a "fishmarket" smell until you get them in the chair. :) Once you get past the preconceived notions about what it is. "you EAT that?!?"

Quick tip. ‘Shabu’ in Japanese is a slang for meth. Using the full term ‘Shabu-shabu’ which is the name of the dish, should keep you away for being misunderstood.
@jade52022 жыл бұрын
a lot of people have commented that on his older videos but he doesn't care it seems.
@KitsuneAdorable Жыл бұрын
@@jade5202You’d think he should if it’s the slang for a dangerous illegal drug. 🤦🏻♀️
@snowbunny2908 Жыл бұрын
I think him saying only shabu in a shabu shabu restaurant is fine you would have to completely disregard context to think he was talking about meth

The wagyu beef stayed in the hot broth way too long. It’s way tastier if you take it out of hot broth within 5 seconds while it’s still pink and let it sit for another 3 seconds. The carryover heat will cook the wagyu slices to medium rare!
