I was in japan last week and the first think i did when i was at my hotel, was to go to a seven eleven and bought a egg salad sandwich. It was really so good, soft and juice like you told us. Thank you for that ^^

As an Italian, I'm not surprised that there is very good Italian food in Japan. Italian food is all about the quality of the basic ingredients and from your videos it looks like all ingredients are top quality in Japan! 🤤

@@IDiggPattyMayonnaise Yeah, I don't agree with that. They were probably talking about a specific place maybe, butas someone who has been to Japan, you get a load of absolute shit in terms of pizzas

@sneer1010 Japanese pizzas are amazing. The issue is that there are 3 distinct styles of pizza in Japan. There’s the light Italian/Naples style, the heavy American/Chicago style, and then the uniquely Japanese style. Any restaurant will only do one of these styles, and as many foreigners don’t like the Japanese style, they often dismiss all pizzas in Japan not realizing they’ve only scratched the surface. Personally Japanese style is my favorite, but it is quite unique.

We call it 'Depa-Chika' Depa for department store, Chika for underground. Whenever we're at a department store, we have to go to their depa-chika because we can eat our way through just the free samples they hand out and get full. And they hand out quality stuff. Always free lunch, snack or dinner. This was more than 20 years ago when I still used to live there. I hope it still remains the same.

I used to live in Okinawa and my family and I would go to a department store there that had a delicious bakery. One thing I crave to this day is this mayo cheese bun. It was like this huge bun that was split open on top an then baked with some i think it was mayo and little cheese cubes. I have no ideo what it is called, so i don't even know how to look it up. So good though!! Im hungry thinking about it.
@elwood0753 Жыл бұрын
You know exactly! A bun with dice of cheese is "cheese coupé"(🇯🇵Chiizu Kuppe) that we called it. And, if mayonnaise is added, it's "cheese mayo coupé"(🇯🇵Chiizu Mayo Kuppe). But, the name "coupé" is not so common, so people might call it "bun"(🇯🇵Pan)... Oh, we're back to square one.😁

@@elwood0753 I wish there were bakeries near me that made those, or even something like it. It's hard to even find any kind of Asian food that I don't have to drive over an hour to get. I live in "VERY white" Missouri. Diversity of food goes as far as Mexican.
