I think what they are trying to say is that one typically does not just decide to have same sex relations because of a bad relationship. In most cases there was already some level of attraction to the same sex. A lot of people will supress that desire for many different reasons. A bad relationship can sometimes push you try something you've never done before but were always curious about. (Or maybe they had a little experience before and could not continue to supress those feelings any longer.)

This guy is hilarious. I guess he didn't hear the judge say "he's not suing yall," meaning he can't just sue her, he would also have to sue them because they are a married couple and both lived there. The IRS isn't going to care about who claimed the children or had the right to.
