String of hearts is honestly one of my easiest plants to care for. Bright indirect light with some late afternoon sun. Water when I remember and hey presto. In the UK they are plentiful with most decent supermarkets / garden centres selling them. I’m just about to propagate mine and I’m going for the chop and pot method to fill out the top of the plant.

The first propagation of my SOH I actually did in soil - a week after popping up my cuttings in water they looked really bad and about to die, so I was like "well, just try it in soil, got nothing to lose". It actually worked pretty well, they did recover soon, and around a monthish later they started to put out new growth. Ever since then it's growing fairly well, and I am excited to make new propagations of my SOH this year - wanna start to set up a second big pot of this beautiful plant. I just love it so so so much! ♥

VSOH was the first "must have" plant in my collection! Silver glory is real, I can speak for the one I have, it is similar to regular SOH but the hearts are a solid pale color rather than veined like the classic!

Oh that’s cool! I’d like to get one to see for myself :)
@littlemisssade4 жыл бұрын
@I I i paid the same as I did for regular SOH, I do agree regular SOH can get light in colour but I do think theres a noticeable difference with the silver glory that has little to do with proximity to grow lights.
@beknight93994 жыл бұрын
I too think, it's a seperate type. My silver glory looks different from my normal one. First it's the silver shade, with is constant in my plant - the lightning isnt't the point. Second the shape of the leave ist different. The silver glory has bigger, more succulent leaves and the edges are wavy. It's a very cute plant in my opinion, love it!
