Excellent call on Carlos Cavazo and "Cum on Feel the Noize." I'd put that one in the category of "better than it had to be"--you had a sleaze-rock band doing a Slade cover in the early 80's, and it would've been easy to just mail this one in. But Mr. Cavazo obviously put a lot of thought into his work here, and it shows. Splendid!

Tom, thanks for the comment. I’d agree it’s probably better than it needed to be but I think the band got caught up in it because it exceeded their expectations. I’m pretty sure Kevin Dubrow wasn’t interested in doing it but their producer Spencer Proffer was insistent. Btw, Spencer was the co-writer and producer of the Billy Thorpe song, Children of the Sun.
