This girl, despite not appearing in a chibi sequence, may already be my new favorite for multiple reasons. I feel the visual design (particularly how her collar covers her mouth), tone, and lyrics bring across a lot both from an understanding of 40K and a real love for this character. Inquisitors are...I'll freely admit I'm on the fringes of 40K understanding, but that group, in a word, pisses me off. The lyrics express a strong dedication to duty clashing with a strong passion for, well, passion. Given I think the Inquisitors are ass-backwards to begin with that may not say much compared to other, saner groups, but it does say a lot about the humanity in her heart which seems to be sorely lacking in this universe at times. She's not swearing off her duty, nor condemning "forbidden" love. It's doubt fighting hope, and given the theme of this series is romance Himejoshi more than any of the others in my opinion is truly pouring her heart out as apposed to reaching out to ours. She's not asking to BE loved. She wants to know what it is. Additionally, her poise and voice carry the confidence and power expected of an inquisitor, but none of the arrogance or condescension I'd expect. This is not a girl. This is not a seductress. This is not some weird cute/sexy alien thing, super-soldier, or group ambassador. This is a WOMAN, and that appeals to me much more than any typecast fantasy girl.

The majority of Inquisitors are along the same thing. Dealing the heresies in a measured way. They are mostly aware of the ramifications of their actions, so try to limit it. A few go nuts, and will exterminatus over 1 suggestion of a heretic. But most know that, a subtle touch is often better. And the Inquisition is one of the few groups in 40k that recruit from everywhere. Almost everything else you need to have the right blood to get anywhere (even the guard tends to promote nobles and the like much quicker than normal people) But an Inquisitior. If an Inquisitor thinks you'd make a good Inquisitor/acolyte, they'll pick you up. And noboy's gonna argue with them about the person's merits. Several Inquisitors are ex-gangers/underhivers.

This is too catchy... like I've listened to every idol song so far, sometimes multiple times, but not even Mechanical Heart can beat this. It is just too good. The Holy Orders of the Emperor's Inquisition, the best in the galaxy.
